DreadOut 2 Brings Third-Person Horror To PS5, PS4 On July 20

DreadOut 2, the third-person survival horror title from developer Digital Happiness, will launch for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One, publisher Digerati has announced.

Originally released for the PC in February 2020, DreadOut 2 plucks inspiration from Indonesian folklore and urban legends, with players following high school student Linda Melinda, who is armed with the supernatural talents of being able to sense and see ghosts.

Equipped with her smartphone, Linda must save her hometown and potentially all of mankind from the malevolent spirits that stalk her, with the aid of all-new melee combat and a larger emphasis on exploration.

Along the way, you’ll fill up the Ghostpedia app on your phone, chat to residents both alive and deceased, and battle ghosts such as the Gore Gurgeon and Kuntilanak.
